In the Mood for a Twisted Thriller?
Wednesday, January 1, 2025
For all of you who only have fifteen minutes to call your own …
Here are the Fifteen-Minute Mysteries!
They’re a collection of four short stories that span much of my writing career, from Under the Microscope, the kernel of which I wrote in high school, to Tell Me What I Want to Hear, winner of the St. Louis Writer’s Guild Short Story Contest in 2022.
And for all of you who wonder if artificial intelligence really represents a threat to the creative work of authors, Fifteen-Minute Mysteries also includes a bonus short story written by ChatGPT. It’s a locked room mystery of the ilk of The Murders in the Rue Morgue, a short story by Edgar Allan Poe. I’ve also included two of the four prompts I used (one for each scene), so you have an idea about the questions I posed to ChatGPT.
So, did the AI write garbage or an award winning novel? My take on that question is in the book, but I invite you to be the judge.
This collection is FREE, but only on January 1 and 2, 2025, so get your copy now by clicking HERE
